Cloud Biscuits

4 cups flour
2 tsp white sugar
8 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup shortening
2 beaten eggs – very well beaten
1 and 1/3 cups milk (Evaporated milk is the best)

Sift dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until course. Combine eggs and milk. Add to flour; mix all at once. Bake in 450 deg. F. oven until lightly browned on top… for 18 minutes or so.
